It was brought to my attention that if anyone does a Google search your listings will be shown at our meet up site if you have registered using your first and last name. For some people this may not be an issue. For others, please be aware that prospective employers, or current insurance providers, or friends for that matter, can easily access your information.

In order to protect your privacy you can leave the site, and send an email to " privacy@meetup.com" requesting they remove all communication that identifies you personally. You can then reregister using a nickname or just your first name if you wish.

Also, we don't Monitor the discussion or message boards. Most of us are trying to keep our computer use down to a minimum. But there is a lively discussion always going on @ "Sorehand" at UCSF if that is what you are looking for.
